Hi, my name is Jannat Balani. I’m 17 years old and from Glen Rock, New Jersey. For the past several years, I’ve been dedicated to supporting Parkinson’s awareness through fundraising, community events, and volunteer efforts for organizations working to improve the lives of those affected by the disease. My grandmother, Asha, has been living with Parkinson’s for the past 13 years. Watching her strength and resilience throughout her journey has inspired my commitment to this cause and motivated me to make a meaningful difference in my community. I am incredibly grateful to Village Lift for partnering with me and sharing my passion for supporting those affected by Parkinson’s disease. Together, we hope to raise awareness, contribute to important research and support efforts, and create a lasting impact for patients and their families.

Building on Village Lift’s mission of creating lasting social impact, we are proud to launch our Parkinson’s Initiative. Through this special collection, 15% of the sales will be donated to organizations dedicated to improving the lives of those affected byParkinson’s disease through research, patient support, advocacy, and education. This initiative is deeply personal to me. My grandmother has Parkinson’s disease, and watching someone you love face the daily challenges of this condition changes your perspective. It inspired me to become actively involved inParkinson’s awareness, fundraising, and volunteer efforts within my community. Through organizing fundraisers, participating in awareness events, and working alongside others affected byParkinson’s, I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful support, continued research, and community engagement can improve the lives of patients and their families.
